The Best Answer To Weight Loss - Eating Fruit

One of the best ways to lose weight is to eat fruit. It is undoubtedly one of the finest foods nature has given us. Nearly everybody likes fruit of some description. Whether you are a basic apples and oranges man or you prefer something more juicy and exotic, there is no denying that fruit is extremely beneficial to the body and wellbeing of a person.

There are however some people who do not like fruit, either because of the texture or the combination of it being too sweet or very acid. For those of you who find eating fruit difficult, blending a selection of fruits together and drinking it instead may be preferable.

Some years ago a popular book recommended food combining and the consumption of fruit as the sure way to lose and maintain a healthy weight. The idea here was to;

Eat fruit on an empty stomach preferably on a morning and to eat as much fruit as you like from morning until midday. It is widely known that fruit has the highest water content of all foods and well as being an excellent cleanser.

Fruit requires less energy to be digested than any other foods, therefore the energy produced can be used to breakdown the access fat stored around the body.

This one tip alone has caused many people to lose weight thus reducing the risk of cardiovascular diseases and cancers.

Now fruit can be expensive but there are places where you can purchase fruit at reasonable prices.

Look out for half price offers and 'buy one get one free' offers in supermarkets.

Buy fruits in season - apples, blueberries, pears and plums are all in season at the moment which means they are often cheaper.

Discount shops like Aldi and Lidl in the UK regularly offer good prices on their fruits and vegetables.

Market stalls heavily discount their fresh produce at the end of the day to get rid of it. The fruit may not look as attractive at the end of the day as it did at the beginning, nevertheless they are still sound and you can get good quality fruit at bargain prices.

Farmers markets are a good alternative, the fruit may be a little pricier but the quality is much better.

Grown your own.

Once you begin to see the weight loss without too much effort, it will spur you on to eat more fruit and to include it as part of your healthy lifestyle.
