Celebrities are always prone to the scrutiny of the public. They're not free from the public's pressure to keep looking good, looking young, and looking awesome. So it's no surprise if they too have adapted to different ways of dieting to constantly appease the paparazzi and hyper-concerned fans. How do celebrities diet? Let's take a look at a couple of ways they diet.
1. The Vegan Diet. No meat, no dairy or any other animal products. Well, some celebrities eat fish still. This healthy diet actually helps your skin, your digestion, and you don't get hunger pangs that easily. This diet is far from being bland, plus this diet boosts your energy, too. Pair it with exercise and you get a healthy and sexy body in one.
2. Master Cleanse Diet or Lemonade Diet. This is a diet that follows drinking a mixture of all natural ingredients - fresh squeezed lemon juice, maple syrup (grade B), cayenne pepper, and filtered water without fluoride. The target of this diet is to cleanse your body of all its toxins. Testimonies claim you actually lose around a pound a day with this diet or a little bit more. Not bad to try out, you think?
3. Low Carbohydrate Diet. It focuses on keeping your carbohydrate intake at a low level - about 20% less than the supposed daily caloric intake. This is actually good for those who have diabetes or are prone to developing diabetes, including those that have epilepsy. It forbids you from eating food with sugar, white flour, and starch. You can eat meat, cheese, leafy vegetables, and even fats as much as you want, as long as they are part of the allowed list of foods. You get to enjoy food, lose weight, and still maintain your figure.
4. The Mediterranean Diet. This simple diet allows you to eat your favourite foods while you lose or keep your weight and stay healthy. It's based on foods from the countries surrounding the Mediterranean. Fruits, vegetables, nuts, olive oil, a little of red wine, fish, grains, bread, and a bit of red meat composes this diet. It might seem though that you are eating normal everyday food. Yes, you are except for the specific part of cooking all these in olive oil instead of butter or any other cooking oil. As we all know, olive oil helps lower cholesterol in the blood.
5. The Weight Watchers Diet. A low-fat, low-calorie diet. One of the most successful diet programs in the world, it combines dieting with motivational support meetings to help you effecively complete the program with full commitment. This diet has two plans: the flex and the core. It uses a point system where each food is given corresponding points that is based on its calorie, its fat, and its fiber content. You are only allowed to eat up to your daily target points which is calculated according to your weight and level of activity. This diet also adds physical activity goals to your daily living (which corresponds to points as well) that you are encouraged to accomplish.
Whatever the diet may be, the goal is the same for you, for me, and for celebrities too. To stay fit and, most importantly, healthy.
