How To Lose Weight When You Are Lazy And Fat - The First Steps To Seeing Your Feet Again

You are on the couch, only half paying attention to the TV, pondering how to lose weight when you are lazy and fat.
You haven't exercised in years. You know you need to shed some pounds you just can't get fired up about it at all. You know you need to lose weight because you can't see your feet since your stomach is in the way. You're tired all the time and it's getting harder to get around when you do have the energy. You aren't getting as much done at work or school.
In addition to the physical limitations we place on ourselves when we're overweight, obesity is linked directly to depression, further zapping our motivation to get moving.
Knowing where to start is another reason you aren't trying to lose weight. It either seems too complicated or you've tried just about everything and haven't found the method that works for you and you have started to think of yourself as lazy and fat. You don't say it out loud, but it's rattling around in your head, sure enough.
Whether you've come clean with yourself or not, I'll share with you how to lose weight when you are lazy and fat.
Let's not worry about exercise right now. I'm betting that your weight and energy level are keeping you from finding any pleasure in any kind of exercise so let's focus on easy weight loss first.
Man or woman, if you have reached obesity, and there is a very good chance that you have, then you need to know where you stand and have a plan to get to where you want.
Start with an evaluation. At the very least learn your BMI, or Body Mass Index, so that you know how much weight you need to lose. It's a simple calculation based on your current height and weight. You can find plenty of resources on-line to learn your BMI and some of those site will even help you figure out your daily calorie requirements and suggest a meal plan.
A simpler approach is to find a wellness and weight loss coach to work with. Likely they'll be attached to a product or program but that's OK. It will just make the process easier for you and you'll end up with personal coaching as part of the deal. A personal coach can look objectively at your habits and make suggestions that will work fastest and best for you.
My preferred method of weight loss for folks in your situation is diet shakes. They are simple to make and easy to use. They get you all the nutrition you need in a very low-calorie meal. Plus, you can dial them in for your personal tastes and needs.
In addition to your shake you will want to consider enhancers to crank up fat burning and elevate your energy level. Your excess fat and lack of activity have slowed your metabolism dramatically. Don't get carried away, something as simple as green tea will do a great job. The idea is to elevate your metabolism slightly without adding calories or causing you to be jittery or moody.
As you introduce healthy nutrition through your diet shakes along with healthy metabolism enhancers you will begin to burn fat and add lean muscle. This is a process that feeds on itself because muscle requires more energy, or calories, than fat and you will begin to burn more calories at rest.
Before long before you'll notice your energy levels increasing and that will lead to more activity, burning even more calories. Maybe you've head the Chinese philosopher Lao-tzu's quote:
"A journey of a thousand miles begins with a single step."
Agonizing over the distance between where we are and where we want to be is the source of goal-destroying procrastination not just for weight loss but most of the things we really want from life. Getting a personal evaluation and picking a simple weight loss method is the first step how to lose weight even if you have begun to think of yourself as fat or lazy.

Find a great tasting diet shake and a good coach and you'll be able to see your feet again before you know it!
